Harvesting

These series of works explores the delicate boundary between life and death, between stillness and renewal, depicting bodies shrouded in veils. These veils, with their sinuous and soft folds, follow the poses of the bodies beneath, creating a visual interplay of protection and mystery. The dark tones, dominated by shades of gray and petrol blue, evoke a sense of contemplative solitude, where the body regenerates and recharges lost energies. Each painting represents a moment in an intimate and profound journey, where the bodies seem suspended between sleep and wakefulness, between life and death. The veils that envelop them are not mere coverings, but true protective mantles, charged with a vital energy capable of imparting new strength. There are also a series of small clusters of fabrics arranged in circular forms that draw attention to the magnetic force of matter and the subtle energies that animate everything and a few dark, almost alien landscapes, blending with the same color palette, which serve as a counterpoint to the bodies wrapped in veils, thus extending the reflection on emptiness and presence, on the inner landscape that mirrors the external environment.
