Memories of Dreams

This project from 2016 is inspired by Icelandic folk songs and tales. The media used are acrylic paint, red icelandic clay sticks handmade by the artist, sheets and pillows. 

In this work the dream is interlaced with reality, everyday life mixes with the fantasy of folklore. Consumed by long sleeps, the bed linen is first marked by one´s dreams, and afterwards imprinted with paint.
